If there’s anything we feel strongly about doing in the month of February, it’s relaxing. The chillier weather, the grey days, still smack in the middle of winter and longing for the sun of the summertime, we’re looking forward to feeling cozy and comfortable until the flowers start blooming in the spring.
Making and taking the time to relax and look after yourself is no longer considered selfish or a luxury. What we learned in 2020 is that now more than ever, prioritizing your overall happiness and well-being, which in turn helps to prioritize your overall health, is a must; a staple, a necessity, and the way forward for true self care. We’re excited to share with you some of the 100% natural products you can choose to help support your new year’s resolutions for increased wellness and relaxation.
Relaxing essential oil blends for after work
Working from home has brought all sorts of trials and tribulations for many of us, right alongside a myriad of benefits. Some of us struggled with our posture at our makeshift desks, or we felt challenged to separate work time from home time, and we found ourselves typing away long into the night. Others found a renewed sense of purpose in reclaiming their time normally spent commuting for example and turned this into a meaningful at-home fitness or meditation routine. However you find yourself spending your time after work, we’re almost certain you could use a little help in the relaxation department, which is why we’re sharing some of the products we love to help us chill out after work.
Aroma Om diffuser: this is our favorite diffuser for a few reasons. Not only is it super aesthetically pleasing to look at, it also boasts an optional LED light feature and a run time of between 3-6 hours, depending on a continuous or intermittent run cycle. When it’s time to relax, adding a few drops of a blend we love and letting the power of scent help us find peace is exactly what we need.
Unwind diffuser blend: after a long day of Zoom calls and “can you hear me?” nothing hits the spot like a warm, cozy, floral-citrus blend of lavender, bergamot and geranium wafting throughout the house. Add 5-10 drops to your diffuser of choice and feel the stress of the day start to melt away.
Stress Release roll-on: speaking of stress, this ultra balancing and soothing blend was formulated to help tackle symptoms of stress, including racing thoughts and a busy mind. If your work day has you feeling a little pent up, let it all go by rolling on the grounding properties of lavender, orange and clary sage to help you feel good. Better yet? Try a Saje breath; roll generously onto the palm of your hand, rub hands together and take 3-5 long deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. Ahhh, instant relaxation.

When we want to feel relaxed and instantly gratified, we reach for certain products in our skin care tool kit for that fresh-from-the-spa feeling.
Detox Clay Mask: dirt, grime, oil and build up are no match for the purifying power of our Detox clay face mask. What better way to help your mind and body relax as you head towards bedtime than with a soothing, restorative warm bath? We’re sharing our favorite products to use as part of our nightly wind down.
Sleep Well bath salts: wind down before bedtime with this restful bath salt blend, formulated with calming and relaxing valerian, sweet and soothing roman chamomile and calming and balancing lavender. Add 2-5 tablespoons of salt to a full bath when you are ready to climb in, to ensure the beneficial properties of the essential oils are not lost as they evaporate. Soak for 30 minutes and feel rested from head to toe.
Sleep Well body butter: this powerful yet soothing body butter is the perfect accompaniment to your post-bath time routine. When you want your body to feel nourished and moisture replenished and you also want your mind to feel eased and at peace, you’ve found your ideal body care product. Formulated with replenishing shea and coconut butters alongside lavender, blue chamomile and orange, this rich and luxurious body butter will help set the tone for rest.
Sleep Well roll-on: as the last step in your nighttime routine, reach for this roll-on to help ease your mind and body towards peace and calm. Our favorite places to use it are on the pulse points like our temples and wrists, though many of our Community Members swear by rolling onto the pulse points on their feet about 20-30 minutes before they intend to hop into bed to help set the tone for rest and relaxation. Our top tip? The blue-green color of the blend comes from the azulene in German Chamomile; avoid staining by wearing a clean pair of cotton socks to bed after application!
