Giving back to the community has always been a part of Saje – and we often do this by offering our customers the opportunity to participate in charitable donations when they purchase certain items.

One of our community partners has been the Humane Society. They stand up for animal rights, and fit in very well with our philosophies. We donated a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Aroma Friends this past Christmas and gave $3285.96 to support the efforts of the Humane Society.

We also partnered up with the ChariTREE Foundation, of Bowen Island, and joined with their vision of a greener world with the sale of our customizable Pawlonia boxes and raised $478.89 for their continuing efforts of education and advocacy for the environment.

And of course – our commitment to having 1 tree planted for every 10 soaps sold. In 2010, our soap sales led to 1307 trees being planted, and in the first quarter of 2011, soap sales have seen 331 trees planted already!
