As we quickly approach the season of indulgence, here’s a delicious Chocolate Pudding recipe that won’t leave you feeling guilty. Made with avocados, this delectable dessert is vegan friendly. This recipe comes from Rachelle, who works in our Southgate location in Edmonton, Alberta. Thanks for sharing with us, Rachelle!
Ingredients:
- 1 Large Avocado
- 2 Tbsp Cocoa or Carob Powder
- 1 Tbsp Honey or Agave Nectar (To make it Vegan)
- 2 Tbsp Milk (Almond, Soy or Rice Milk)
Blend in a mini-food processor until smooth.
I like my chocolate the way the Swiss make it, dark yet sweet, so if you don’t like dark chocolate start with 1 Tbsp and work your way up.
Serves 2, approximately 1/3 cup each serving.

Thank you for posting the easy recipe!
I tried it.
I love avocado, and I eat it by itself & use it for so many different dishes.
I love chocolate/cocoa and eat all sorts of chocolatie stuff.
hummm… this cholocate pudding, I taste/smell avocado’s greenish flavor in my mouth, and it was… kind-a ok.
Maybe I should have added vanilla essence.
I made another version.
Instead of using avocado, I used riped banana & cocoa(or carob) powder.
No additional sweet stuff or milk/soymilk.
I like this way better…
